Wine has always been more than an alcoholic drink that fascinates many people and above all, conquers those who have a good liking. Among its many uses, it includes the preparation of different dishes and cocktails, combinations with soft drinks to fight back the sweltering heat, and also as an ingredient in delicious desserts.
U.S. company Cream Wines has created exquisite combinations with sweet and very fine wines, which join more traditional flavors in the realm of ice cream, such as chocolate or vanilla. In the case of Europe, Italy takes the cake. Especially in the south of the country, in provinces such as Sicily, there are traditional ice cream shops that make their own ice cream based on well-known wines. Also Portugal and Spain provide excellent ice cream made of wines. In Rioja, for example, the tempranillo (early reap) wines are used in obtaining this refreshing dessert.
