3D passes

3D World - - TUTORIALS -

For this part which isn’t cov­ered in the tu­to­rial, I used mod­els for the homes that I set up in Maya with sim­ple shaders and ren­dered out a few passes to help with in­te­gra­tion. The main passes I used were one with a key light and one with­out, a nor­mal pass (which I use with chan­nels to ex­tract selections), a depth pass (for dis­tance and haze), an oc­clu­sion pass (for dirt and con­tact points), and an ID pass which en­ables me to make quick selections. I brought all of these lay­ers into a group, but also edited them as my com­po­si­tion changed slightly.
