AREA LIGHT NOISE

One of the issues with Area Lights is that they can create noise depending on the render engine that is being used. To mitigate this, make sure that the light samples, if they are available, are set to a rate that removes noise. To make the most of this, it is advisable to use a render engine with a fast interactive viewer, which can enable you to preview any issues with noise before going to final render. Luckily, thanks to the improvements in CPU and GPU hardware, reviewing Area Lights has never been as easy.
