RANGER – WHAT YOU GET!

ALL Ranger 4x4 dual cab pick-ups have a five-star ANCAP safety rating, six cabin airbags, stability control and trailer-sway control. Cruise, Bluetooth, auto headlights and a rear locker are also standard. All Ranger dual-cabs, bar the XL Plus, have a 230-volt outlet in the cabin. What the XL Plus does get is an auxiliary battery and 17-inch steel wheels in place of the XL’S 16-inch steels.

The XLS adds carpet and 17-inch alloys. The volume-selling XLT then adds sat-nav via larger touchscreen, dual-zone climate, a centre-console cooler, rear parking sensors, auto wipers, tyre pressure sensors, a 12-volt outlet in the tub, a sportsbar, sidesteps, and a 3500kg-rated towbar. The top-spec Wildtrak then adds a reversing camera, front parking sensors, leather and heated front seats, poweradjust for the driver’s seat, 18-inch alloys, and a lockable roller cover for the tub. An optional Tech pack for the XLT and Wildtrak includes radar cruise control, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning and a driver-impairment monitor.
