Mon­day Novem­ber 13 His­toric Hobart 11:00am to 3:30pm Ca­sual

Guests will em­bark on an his­tor­i­cal tour of Hobart in­clud­ing a short walk­ing tour of Sala­manca Place tak­ing in a num­ber of his­tor­i­cal sites in­clud­ing Dou­glas Maw­son’s Hut (the mis­sion base of his Aus­tralasian Antarc­tic Ex­pe­di­tion of 1911–14) and the original cus­toms house built in 1840 which is now the meet­ing place of the Par­lia­ment of Tas­ma­nia. The tour will also take a drive-through Bat­tery Point, one of Hobart’s ear­li­est set­tle­ments which has re­tained much of its colo­nial ar­chi­tec­ture with loads of his­tor­i­cal am­biance. Lunch and a guest speaker will be con­vened at Sea­grass on the beach at Sandy Bay. Guests will have the op­tion to stop off at the Tas­ma­nian Mu­seum and Art Gallery for free time.

Tues­day Novem­ber 14 Coal River Val­ley 11:00am to 3:00pm Ca­sual

This is a day for some re­lax­ation en­joy­ing su­perb food and wine at a sixth gen­er­a­tion owned Es­tate. The Es­tate pro­duces award win­ning wines along with farm­ing sheep and agri­cul­tural crops. The Rivers­dale Es­tate in­vites guests to sink into the mag­nif­i­cent views, the Cel­lar Door for wine tast­ing, and lunch at a su­perb French Restau­rant. This is a day care­fully de­signed to give guests a warm and un­for­get­table ex­pe­ri­ence.
