Golf car com­pe­ti­tion a swing­ing suc­cess

A Walpole res­i­dent’s dreams came true af­ter winning a new Volk­swa­gen Golf from her lo­cal IGA.

Nikki Rouse en­tered Walpole IGA “Win a Car” com­pe­ti­tion af­ter spend­ing more than $30 in store.

The car is worth $24,000.

Walpole IGA store own­ers Neal and James Grif­fiths handed the keys to her Golf on Tues­day last week.

“Nikki has been a great cus­tomer here at Walpole IGA and this car is the per­fect way to show our thanks for her and ev­ery­one’s con­tin­ued sup­port,” Neal Grif­fiths said. Walpole IGA also par­tic­i­pates in the IGA Com­mu­nity Chest, which raises funds for lo­cal char­i­ties, teams and or­gan­i­sa­tions through in-store pur­chases, in­clud­ing prod­ucts from IGA’s new Com­mu­nity Co range.
