Pavlovich pur­sues suc­ces­sive wins

A big field of su­per sedans will con­verge on Mt Barker’s Les Gor­man Park on Satur­day for the sec­ond round of the Su­per Sedan Sum­mer Se­ries.

Al­most 20 driv­ers have nom­i­nated to con­test round 2 of the an­nual se­ries af­ter the sea­son opener was held last Satur­day in Nar­ro­gin, where Mt Barker’s Chris Pavlovich was suc­cess­ful over Gary Higgs and Da­mon Trouchet.

Pavlovich hopes to re­peat the dose at his home track but will again face stiff op­po­si­tion from Higgs and Trouchet, along with Kevin Bell, Kem­ble Aylett and Lee Aylett.

A field of 18 driv­ers have nom­i­nated to race at the day­light venue, where the Ken Tay­lor High­est Points award will also be con­tested.

Ju­nior sedans, pro­duc­tion sedans and street stocks will be part of the sup­port pro­gram, with Mt Barker Speed­way Club driv­ers vy­ing for the an­nual Ken Tay­lor award.

Gates open at 10am and rac­ing starts at 1pm.
