Cran­brook man held on in­de­cent counts

A Cran­brook man re­mains in cus­tody after be­ing charged over a se­ries of in­de­cent acts al­legedly com­mit­ted at cafes in Perth.

Ge­of­frey Robert Boyd, 62, ap­peared in Al­bany Mag­is­trate’s Court on Satur­day after be­ing ar­rested and charged by Perth de­tec­tives at his home last Fri­day.

Mr Boyd was charged with two counts of in­de­cently deal­ing with a child over 13 and un­der 16, al­legedly com­mit­ted in Ned­lands on Septem­ber 27, and six counts of com­mit­ting an in-de­cent act.

Po­lice say the six in­ci­dents all al­legedly hap­pened in the view of cus­tomers at cafes in Su­bi­aco, Ned­lands, Rock­ing­ham, Vic­to­ria Park and Mt Hawthorn be­tween Septem­ber 28 and Oc­to­ber 18.

He will ap­pear in court again on Novem­ber 8.
