Katan­ning Gallery hosts show­case of lo­cal art­works

Katan­ning Art Gallery is hold­ing a special ex­hi­bi­tion ti­tled Doors.

The art ex­hi­bi­tion was of­fi­cially opened for pub­lic view­ing last Thurs­day.

Shire of Katan­ning council mem­ber Martin Van Kold­en­hoven opened the ex­hi­bi­tion, which show­cases the works of artists from around the re­gion. Forty guests at­tended the open­ing and ad­mired paint­ings by Mar­garet Innes and unique ex­hibits by Katan­ning Art Gallery of­fi­cer James Wood.

Lo­cal artist Camp­bell Beck’s pho­to­graphs are also on show.

The Doors art ex­hi­bi­tion opened on July 27 at Katan­ning Art Gallery and closes on Au­gust 19.
