Narrogin police executed several search warrants in the region between July 28 and August 3, resulting in 26 charges being laid.

Five people from Narrogin and one from Cuballing were charged.

The 44-year-old Cuballing woman is charged with 13 offences.

Various charges were laid under the Misuse of Drugs Act, including possession of a prohibited drug with intent to supply.

Police said investigations were ongoing.

Further charges could also be laid.

Sergeant Mike Bickford said the police had an ongoing reliance on community assistance when it came to matters like these.

“Especially in less patrolled areas, we really need people to be reporting information to Crime Stoppers or to the Narrogin police,” Sgt Bickford said.

“All information will be treated with confidentiality so it’s important for people to report anything suspicious that they see.

“We face a constant battle against drug use but we will never ease up.”

As well as the 13 charges against the 44-year-old woman from Cuballing, several Narrogin residents were also charged.

A 23-year-old man faces eight charges, a 29-year-old man faces two charges, and a 20-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 43-year-old woman are facing one charge each.

If residents see anything suspicious they should call Narrogin police on 9882 2555 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
