Youngsters storm to success at Perth carnival
Albany Storm Junior Rugby Football Club has returned from a recent carnival in Perth with brilliant success, winning almost every game. With players competing in the under-8s, under-9s and under-10s at the tournament, Albany came away with 14 victories from their 15 matches.
Albany won many of the games convincingly in the 10 player-a-side carnival against Palmyra, Wanneroo, Southern Lions, Cottesloe and Nedlands.
The teams produced strong performances across the board and were well drilled and coached by Paul Osborne.
The club trains from January until mid-February and resumes in the second half of term 3. Teams from Albany will head to Bunbury for another weekend tournament in Bunbury in July.
