Choc-eat­ing champ ti­tle up for grabs

What could be a bet­ter way to cel­e­brate World Choco­late Day than in­dulging in an all-you­can-eat choco­late-eat­ing com­pe­ti­tion.

Emu Lane cafe in Katan­ning is host­ing the com­pe­ti­tion on Satur­day, July 7.

The in­vi­ta­tion has been put out to peo­ple across the Great South­ern to come along and join in.

Cafe owner Julie Har­ries said there would be plenty vari­a­tion of choco­late desserts avail­able for the du­ra­tion of the com­pe­ti­tion.

“Join us to see who will be crowned the Great South­ern choco­late-eat­ing cham­pion,” she said.

“Seven con­tes­tants will be se­lected at ran­dom by bal­lot to be el­i­gi­ble to win.

“The com­pe­ti­tion will start at 1.30pm on Satur­day.”

In or­der to be a part of the com­pe­ti­tion, choco­late lovers will need to fill out a form avail­able from Emu Lane cafe or sim­ply fol­low a link on the Emu Lane Face­book page.
