Alpine News App and digital editions released
NORTH East Newspapers (NEN), publisher of the Australian Alpine News (AAN) is now available online and can be read anywhere, anytime and even offline.
A partnership with PressReader who are the world leader in digital newspaper and magazine content distribution, will now enable subscribers to read full digital editions of the AAN.
Other NEN publications are available to read online including the snow related titles, Mt Hotham/ Falls Creek News and Mt Buller News.
This free service enables readers to access full content editions of each publication in a format familiar to the user, via either smartphone, tablet or from a desktop device and once downloaded the publication/s can then be read.
NEN CEO, Edward Higgins, said his company had responded to the demands of their readers.
“We set out to create a product that allows readers to engage with our publications on a device of choice,” Mr Higgins said.
“Launching the digital editions is an important step in our commitment to offering a convenient, easy to use digital news service to our readers who prefer digital content to the printed form, as well as those readers who don’t have access to a printed edition.
“This new service helps us to deliver our snow publications to digital audiences, while at the same time offering cross platform opportunities for our advertisers.”
