Trio set to launch album

DENILIQUIN acoustic trio Gomer and The Girl will launch their much anticipated album Boo at Bright Brewery on Sunday.

Regular performers at the venue, the band will travel to the brewery on Sunday where they’ll perform from 3pm-6pm.

Boo is a 40 minute collection of eight songs, many of them capturing tales of family and friendship, of love going a bit right and not quite right at all.

Music guru by Triple J’s Richard Kingsmill as seriously bloody good, Boo is acoustic driven, but with some really robust moments and more complex than an acoustic trio often brings.

“It has modern, sad ballads, humour, gritty urban tales and sometimes bright and heartfelt songs delivered with emotion, gusto, fun and subtlety,” he said.
