Toy library takes gender-neutral approach

Alpine Observer - - News -

MEMBERS of the Mt Beauty Toy Library are hoping that its new green branding which reflects the local area will also project the ideals of being non gender-specific.

Toy Library secretary Karen Crumpler said last year had been all about refreshing the group’s toy collection.

“We had grants totalling $2000, from the Alpine Shire annual community grants program, Lake View childcare and from our own fundraising,” she said.

“We now have a collection of brilliant new top quality educational toys, and we thought we needed a new logo and signage.

The new logo was a group effort, with input from a wide range of people.

Local graphic designer Hannah Little of Aitch Little Press and Design created the final logo for a reduced rate.

“We are absolutely delighted with the result,” Ms Crumpler said.
