Expo to show­case lo­cal wed­ding ser­vices

BRIDES and grooms-to-be will be able to pick up some use­ful hints later and see what’s of­fered lo­cally when a group of North East busi­nesses show­case their prod­ucts and ser­vices in Mt Beauty later this month.

Expo or­gan­iser Jo­ce­lyn Cec­ca­nti said that she was ex­cited be col­lab­o­rat­ing with the West Peak Ho­tel man­age­ment to bring the event to the area for the first time.

“The func­tion room will be filled with cake dec­o­ra­tors, hair­dressers, beauty ther­a­pists, florists, pho­tog­ra­phers, cel­e­brants, venue op­er­a­tors, wed­ding and events plan­ners, cater­ers, and so much more,” she said.

“There will be mu­sic from Liam and Ben from Har­ri­etville, and Me, My­self and Char­lie will be per­form­ing all af­ter­noon.”

Host for the oc­ca­sion will be pro­fes­sional en­ter­tainer and mast or cer­e­monies Steve Bowen from Al­bury, who will chat with vis­i­tors and ven­dors.

Kiewa Val­ley busi­nesses will be Kylie Esler’s Big Bright Pho­tos and Whipps De­signs with their cus­tom de­signed fire pits.

Other ven­dors will be Jack and Jill Bridal, Bright’s Old Fash­ioned Lolly Shop, Travel n Cruise, Glow Beauty, Miss Mac­aron, Gather Vin­tage, QT Re­sorts, and Vin­bar with their retro van to cater for wed­dings and events.

“This is our first bridal show but with a pos­i­tive re­sponse we hope to run it as an an­nual event,” Ms Cec­ca­nti said.

“Win­ter is a beau­ti­ful time to get mar­ried up in the moun­tains and it is be­com­ing more pop­u­lar, as it pro­vides some amaz­ing back drops.”

The bridal expo will take place on Sun­day, July 29 be­tween 1pm and 4pm, with en­try be­ing free.

“Ev­ery­one is welcome to at­tend, and you might win a night’s ac­com­mo­da­tion at the Ho­tel Atura Al­bury,” Ms Cec­ca­nti said.
