Expo to showcase local wedding services
BRIDES and grooms-to-be will be able to pick up some useful hints later and see what’s offered locally when a group of North East businesses showcase their products and services in Mt Beauty later this month.
Expo organiser Jocelyn Ceccanti said that she was excited be collaborating with the West Peak Hotel management to bring the event to the area for the first time.
“The function room will be filled with cake decorators, hairdressers, beauty therapists, florists, photographers, celebrants, venue operators, wedding and events planners, caterers, and so much more,” she said.
“There will be music from Liam and Ben from Harrietville, and Me, Myself and Charlie will be performing all afternoon.”
Host for the occasion will be professional entertainer and mast or ceremonies Steve Bowen from Albury, who will chat with visitors and vendors.
Kiewa Valley businesses will be Kylie Esler’s Big Bright Photos and Whipps Designs with their custom designed fire pits.
Other vendors will be Jack and Jill Bridal, Bright’s Old Fashioned Lolly Shop, Travel n Cruise, Glow Beauty, Miss Macaron, Gather Vintage, QT Resorts, and Vinbar with their retro van to cater for weddings and events.
“This is our first bridal show but with a positive response we hope to run it as an annual event,” Ms Ceccanti said.
“Winter is a beautiful time to get married up in the mountains and it is becoming more popular, as it provides some amazing back drops.”
The bridal expo will take place on Sunday, July 29 between 1pm and 4pm, with entry being free.
“Everyone is welcome to attend, and you might win a night’s accommodation at the Hotel Atura Albury,” Ms Ceccanti said.
