Make use of ligatures

Give your documents the handwritten look.

Certain fonts, including Zapfino, include special versions of regular characters known as ligatures that create the illusion of cursive writing. In Pages 3.1, you can now control how supported fonts use ligatures. To see what — if any — effects are available with a specific font, select a passage of text, tap the brush icon to open the inspector, then tap the three dots (...) under the font name and scroll down to the Ligatures section. The Default setting uses a smattering of ligature characters to balance readability and decoration, or you can choose None or All.
