The Nintendo Switch has sold almost 20 million units
THE JAPANESE GAMING GIANT GETS BACK ON TRACK.
Considering the console has been out for roughly 18 months, the fact that the Switch is fast approaching the big 20-million-units-sold mark (as of figures released by Nintendo in late June) is an undeniable indication of its success. According to the numbers, this is approximately on par with how the market-leading PlayStation 4 was doing at this point in its life cycle. While the portable console from Nintendo is not directly competing with the Sony giant, the Switch has already smashed past Wii U sales, with no visible signs of slowing.
