Ken Done is a unique Aus­tralian artist known for his ex­pres­sive use of colour, love and pas­sion for paint­ing the Aus­tralian land­scape, scenes of Syd­ney Har­bour and other iconic land­marks, beaches and the out­back. He has ex­hib­ited widely at home and in­ter­na­tion­ally, and many of his works are held in col­lec­tions across Europe, Ja­pan and the United States. The book in­vites the reader into the ad­ven­tures of grow­ing up in the 1950s, stu­dent days at the Na­tional Art School, a ca­reer in ad­ver­tis­ing ‘Mad Men’ style, travel and his suc­cess in the art world.
