OlsenNew York, Gruin USA Un­til 23 July, 2017 ‘Shar­ing Coun­try’ is an ex­hi­bi­tion of works by Abo­rig­i­nal artists from some of Aus­tralia’s most re­mote desert com­mu­ni­ties across Western Aus­tralia, North­ern Ter­ri­tory, and South Aus­tralia. These paint­ings tell sto­ries of past and present and are unique to these In­dige­nous groups, their lan­guages and land­scapes. Artists in­clude: Sandy Brumby, Tommy Wat­son, Joseph Jurra Tjapalt­jarri, Iluwanti Ken, Puna Yan­ima, Tuppy Ngin­tja Good­win, Wom­ens Col­lab­o­ra­tive, Barbara Moore, Tiger Pal­patja, Witjiti Ge­orge, Min­nie Pw­erle, Kud­ditji Kng­war­r­eye, Kathy Mar­ingka and Liddy Na­panangka Walker.
