Man injured in crash
An 80-year-old Erskine man was flown to Royal Perth Hospital on Monday after a two-car crash in Cowaramup.
Margaret River Police Sergeant Brett Cassidy said a 23-year-old Abbey woman in a silver Toyota hatchback pulled out of the Margaret River Dairy Company onto Bussell Highway near Lovejoy Road and hit a red Kia hatchback travelling south.
Sgt Cassidy said the male driver was flown to hospital with possible fractured ribs, while his 70year-old passenger and the other driver were taken to Margaret River Hospital with minor injuries.
Ambulance and Margaret River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the crash about 2.45pm.
Sgt Cassidy urged anyone with information about the crash to contact Margaret River Police on 9757 2222.
