Fitness enthusiasts can combine their love of running and wine tasting at the Grapest 5k Run at Xanadu on Saturday, October 7.

The fun run will include a 5km trail through Xanadu’s vineyards with four wine tasting stations along the way.

The event is part of the Margaret River Wine Region’s 50th anniversary celebrations, marking half a century since Dr John Gladstone identified the region as a premium site for wine-grape growing.

Xanadu’s Dave Newman said it was an honour to represent Margaret River.

“The event is sure to offer vineyard views truly worth writing home about, combined with a little healthy physical challenge,” he said.

The Times will give four lucky readers the chance to win a ticket to the event.
