Escapists to dine with food’s big guns
US-based Australian chef and food personality Curtis Stone will join residents for lunch at the Margaret River TAFE to kickstart November’s Margaret River Gourmet Escape.
About 200 people will have the chance to join Stone on Thurs- day, November 16 for lunch, hosted by WA media personality Anna Gare.
The day will include a cooking demonstration by Stone, previously named Los Angeles chef of the year, before a lunch served by TAFE cookery students, led by commercial cookery lecturer Amanda Smith.
Residents from Margaret River and surrounds will also be given free entry to the festival hub at Leeuwin Estate on Sunday. Preregistration is required at gour metescape.com.au/superlocal.
