Tues­day’s vet­er­ans com­pe­ti­tion had a great turnout, with Gre­gory Byrne in first place scor­ing 21 and Bruce Darby sec­ond with 19 on a count­back from Robert Wil­liams.

Wed­nes­day’s ladies’ cham­pi­onships round 2 saw Judy An­der­son in first with 72. Penny Foy­was sec­ond with one point more.

Jo Broad­hurst was top man at Thurs­day’s scroungers with a score of 39. Val Meleri (18) won Fri- day’s mixed game as best wo­man and best over­all.

Best man went to Rob Hearn with one point less.

The first year of the Seedy Cup was played last Satur­day, with Trevor San­ders twin­ning first prize (70), Wayne Clarke sec­ond (71) and Michael Al­lenby in third with 73.

Forty peo­ple played in Sun­day’s Della Fay an­nual Ir­ish Stable­ford.

The team of Rob Foy, An­dre Botha, and Rose­mary and Wil­liam On­g­ley scored best with 101 points.
