Property fits rural residential zoning
Councillors have backed rezoning of spare land on Greenhill Road in Augusta ahead of putting the land on the market.
As part of the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River’s Land Assets Management Plan, 27 Greenhill Road was judged surplus to need and would be sold after zoning changes to allow rural residential development.
No objection to the proposal was received during public advertising.
The 9228sqm property adjoins Calkarri Drive and would fit with rural residential development in the area, but was yet to be valued pending the rezoning change.
The site borders a Shire gravel pit to the east.
