Teenage issues the theme for dance performances
Young dancers from Margaret River Senior High School wowed audiences with several performances at Bunbury’s annual Yoh Fest last week.
Led by teacher Amanda Gradisen, students from years 7-10 performed eight-minute dance routines to the theme Pushed to the Limit.
“The MRSHS production has been choreographed collaboratively, with the final product representing a snapshot of several focus issues in the life of a teenager,” Ms Gradisen said.
The Year 8 troupe focused on the allure of social media, while Year 10s looked at the importance of emotional management, Year 7s looked at motivation, while Year 9s focused on recognising the power of sleep and its ability to rejuvenate.
