John But­ler to air fresh mu­sic

Mar­garet River-based in­ter­na­tional record­ing artist John But­ler will air tracks from his forth­com­ing new al­bum at a Leeuwin Es­tate con­cert on Jan­uary 27.

The an­nounce­ment comes as Home, But­ler’s first al­bum in four years, fea­tures in an up­com­ing na­tional tour with singer-song­writer Missy Hig­gins.

The mu­si­cians will be joined by Stella Don­nelly, as well as spe­cial guests in each city in­clud­ing Dan Sul­tan, The Waifs, The Teskey Broth­ers, Baker Boy, and Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project.

Home’s first sin­gle Just Call dropped this week, of­fer­ing a teaser of the up­com­ing re­lease.

“This is the story of how I found my best friend and part­ner, out in a small town in the mid­dle of nowhere, in a world of 7 bil­lion peo­ple,” But­ler said.

Mar­garet River’s John But­ler will de­but new ma­te­rial at a fam­ily-friendly gig at Leeuwin Es­tate on Jan­uary 27.
