Grom­mets in the spot­light

Augusta Margaret River Times - - Sport - Therese Col­man Augusta’s Ruby Berry placed sec­ond in the Un­der-12 girls’ divi­sion.

South West grom­mets tri­umphed on the Sun­shine Coast last week­end, claim­ing a num­ber of plac­ings at the 2018 Bil­l­abong Parko’s Grom Stomp.

Augusta’s Ruby Berry placed sec­ond in the Un­der-12 girls’ divi­sion be­hind Queensland’s Jahly Stokes.

Man­durah’s Mav­er­ick Wil­son placed first in the Un­der-10 boys’ divi­sion, and Grace­town’s Sid En­glert placed third.

Man­durah’s Mack­lin Flynn fin­ished fourth in the Un­der-12 boys’ divi­sion.

South West and Capes surfers will pre­pare for the Grace­town Grom­mets later this month and the Rip Curl Grom­search in Oc­to­ber.
