Perimeter road disruptions

Augusta Margaret River Times - - News -

Residents are on notice for some disruption as the Margaret River Perimeter Road project heads towards completion.

Final works include connecting the bypass to the roundabout north of Margaret River, with traffic stops starting this week.

Main Roads WA said the disruptions would last about eight weeks.

“Main Roads asks all road users, including parents, students and transport operators, to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journey,” a spokesman said.

“Work on the Margaret River Perimeter Road is progressing well with 90 per cent of the traffic bridge completed, along with 90 per cent of the perimeter road to Rosa Brook Road.”

The project should be finished by mid-December, with an official opening planned.
