Timberlink Australia (www. timberlinkaustralia.com.au) is a leading radiata timber products manufacturing business. The business has two sawmills at Bell Bay (Tasmania) and Tarpeena (South Australia) that manufacture Australian grown plantation pine, has sales and distribution teams based in Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne and has a sales team based at the Bell Bay mill. Timberlink Australia was established by New Forests, an Australian fund manager, to operate as part of a diversified investment portfolio of forestry plantations and businesses. The aligned interest of New Forests’ plantation resources with Timberlink’s processing capacity enables the company to have a long term committed approach to its business and customers. Timberlink Australia produces fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor structural timber for building Australian new homes and renovation projects, and exports sawn timber to a number of countries in the Asian region. Flight Timbers The Flight sawmill site in its current form has been developing since the 1950s with all processes located on this one site since 2005. Operations include value adding treatment and remanufacturing plants. Flight Timbers currently produces a range of radiata plantation pine products including clear grades, finger jointed, furniture, framing and industrial grade timber for predominantly New Zealand, Australian and Asian markets.
