Premier Func­tion Cen­tre, Trar­al­gon In­dus­try Field Trips 14 April In­dus­try-led ini­tia­tives for safety is­sues 14 April 3-5pm. Mac­far­lane Bur­net Room, Trar­al­gon Ser­vice Cen­tre. ForestWorks will host this ses­sion about the op­por­tu­ni­ties for in­dus­try-led ini­tia­tives to man­age safety is­sues fac­ing the in­dus­try. Wood – the In­tel­li­gent Al­ter­na­tive (sem­i­nar) 15 April 10am-1pm. Trar­al­gon Re­cre­ation Re­serve Ex­hi­bi­tion and Demon­stra­tion field days at two ac­tive sites 15-16 April - The Trar­al­gon Show­grounds Man­u­fac­tur­ing site will have a mar­quee sites for ex­hibit­ing and demon­strat­ing the lat­est de­vel­op­ments in tim­ber pro­cess­ing equip­ment, sys­tems and con­nec­tors for pre-fab­ri­ca­tion man­u­fac­tur­ers, dis­plays of tim­ber and panel prod­ucts and treat­ments for de­sign­ers, as well as a model dis­play demon­strat­ing the con­struc­tion pos­si­bil­i­ties af­forded by the use of mas­sive tim­ber. The Flynn Creek In-for­est site (ac­ces­si­ble only by buses leav­ing the Show­grounds site) will fea­ture out­door static sites, in-for­est dis­plays, live har­vest­ing and for­ward­ing/ skid­ding demon­stra­tions, live in-field chip­ping demon­stra­tions and ex­hi­bi­tions, truck & trailer test drives and a prac­ti­cal safety work­shop.
