FTMA AUS­TRALIA has al­ways been an ac­tive par­tic­i­pant in col­lab­o­ra­tion across our sup­ply chain, recog­nis­ing the im­por­tance of in­dus­try as­so­ci­a­tions, fab­ri­ca­tors and tim­ber com­pa­nies to work to­gether for the bet­ter­ment of our in­dus­try.

With our in­dus­try fac­ing new chal­lenges and op­por­tu­ni­ties due to the change in hous­ing mar­kets, it’s im­por­tant we fo­cus on the fu­ture and en­sure your busi­ness is ready to adapt if need be.

There­fore, in Septem­ber FTMA will be run­ning our first Na­tional Road­show ti­tled Fo­cus­ing on Your Fu­ture in col­lab­o­ra­tion with a cross sec­tion of our in­dus­try.

Firstly the event is be­ing spon­sored by WoodSo­lu­tions who were in­stru­men­tal in achiev­ing the changes to the Na­tional Con­struc­tion Code and who are putting to­gether a tech­ni­cal field force to fo­cus on new op­por­tu­ni­ties for the in­dus­try.

WoodSo­lu­tions are not only spon­sor­ing but are also pro­vid­ing ex­perts who will present on the changes the ex­ten­sive op­por­tu­ni­ties that will be cre­ated for the whole tim­ber sup­ply chain in­clud­ing fab­ri­ca­tors.

TABMA, Tim­ber Trade In­dus­trial As­so­ci­a­tion and Tim­ber Queens­land have also come on board as sup­port spon­sors and mem­bers of th­ese As­so­ci­a­tions can at­tend the sem­i­nars at FTMA Mem­ber rates.

Join­ing WoodSo­lu­tions on the pro­gram are First Su­per, AB Phillips, TTIA and In­dus­try Edge who will present on a wide range of is­sues that af­fect your day to day busi­ness and help look to the fu­ture. What are the Bar­ri­ers with Chang­ing Mar­kets Fa­cil­i­tated Panel Dis­cus­sion

We wel­come sup­plier mem­bers of all As­so­ci­a­tions in­volved, how­ever please note they will be lim­ited to two rep­re­sen­ta­tives per com­pany at each state sem­i­nar as the fo­cus is on the fab­ri­ca­tors. We thank you in ad­vance for your un­der­stand­ing on this.

Sem­i­nar costs and times

To as­sist fab­ri­ca­tors who have to travel to the sem­i­nar we are start­ing the sem­i­nars at 10.00am and con­clud­ing at 3.30pm. Of course as FTMA Aus­tralia is a big be­liever in net­work­ing we will con­clude with a ½ hour net­work­ing ses­sion with canapes and bev­er­ages.

The cost to at­tend­ing the sem­i­nars as stated above en­sures mem­bers of all As­so­ci­a­tions can at­tend at the Mem­bers rate of $90 (GST Incl). The price for non­mem­bers is $120 (GST Incl)
