It’s going to be a really big year!
Welcome to the second instalment of Australian Custom Trucks. For many of you it has been a painstaking wait but your magazine has arrived. Thanks for your support. The Facebook followers and the word of mouth endorsements have been absolutely awesome. For a small mob starting out, our readers and advertisers have been very good to us. Let’s start with some very big news, Australian Custom Trucks and Bling’d Up Trucks are proudly hosting the inaugural International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show (ITTES) Invitational Show & Shine. What this means is you have the opportunity to put your truck next to 49 other great looking customised trucks on the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of April 2014. The entry form for the Invitational Show & Shine is in your copy of Bling’d Up Trucks or you can enter by using the online form that we have links to on www. australiancustomtrucks.com.au and www.blingduptrucks.com.au. Australian Custom Trucks is excited to be involved with the ITTES and are thankful for the opportunity and the exposure it brings to our publications. We hope to meet lots of our readers at the Melbourne Truck Show. As you’ve noticed we have two magazines for you and a poster this time. I am seldom a fan of magazines packaged in plastic but with all the extras we needed to! Our Bling’d Up Trucks team has been getting around to as many shows as we can. Editor Vanessa Smith has been making sure we are out and about and this will continue in 2014. We are proud supporters of all the trucking events. In the next couple of months the Koroit Truck Show is on in January and the Lights on the Hill Convoy is on in February and after that the ITTES so 2014 is going to be a big year for us. In this edition we have focused on the pioneers of customising with the Desperado story as well as the contemporary customisers and fabricators like the SLS Group, Kent Collision and Kustom and AJ’S Total Truck Gear. As aways we have featured some of the best looking rigs in Australia. Now sit back and enjoy the second instalment of Australian Custom Trucks.
