Lat­est tech­nol­ogy on show

“ASIA PA­CIFIC is a strong and grow­ing mar­ket for John Deere forestry ma­chines and it’s the in­ten­tion of the Deere and Hi­tachi team at AUSTim­ber to show cus­tomers the ben­e­fits of all the lat­est John Deere tech­nol­ogy that makes Deere such a global leader in forestry equip­ment tech­nol­ogy,” says Si­mon Shack­le­ton, Sales Man­ager for John Deere Forestry, Asia Pa­cific and Africa.

A full range of new “game chang­ing” forestry har­vest­ing ma­chines will in­clude a num­ber of both Cut-to-Length and Ful­lTree-Length equip­ment on static dis­play and also work­ing on two live demon­stra­tion sites.

“We en­cour­age cus­tomers to visit the John Deere / Hi­tachi dis­play and come and meet our global team and take the op­por­tu­nity to dis­cuss our new and ex­cit­ing prod­ucts which will be on show at AUSTim­ber2016, in­clud­ing the new MSeries tracked har­vesters and feller bunch­ers and LSeries skid­ders with the first mod­els of these prod­ucts only re­cently brought into Aus­tralia.” There will be the new John Deere 948L skid­der, the largest skid­der John Deere pro­duce, work­ing along with an 853M feller buncher on the eu­ca­lyp­tus demon­stra­tion site. Just across the road in a pine stand at­ten­dees will be able to view John Deere’s lat­est tech­nol­ogy re­gard­ing CTL equip­ment, a 1270E eight wheel har­vester.

Cus­tomers will also be able to view a demon­stra­tion of John Deere’s new­est forestry equip­ment fleet man­age­ment soft­ware pack­age “Forest­sight So­lu­tions” and test their skills on a John Deere forestry sim­u­la­tor.

Rep­re­sent­ing each of the three John Deere fac­to­ries that man­u­fac­ture forestry equip­ment, and sup­port­ing the lo­cal Hi­tachi Aus­tralia sales team, will be 20 John Deere global forestry ex­perts in­clud­ing Prod­uct Man­agers, En­gi­neers and Mar­ket­ing Per­son­nel.
