Australian Four Four Two - - GRAND FINAL FEVER -

Victory defender

To be honest I don’t really remember how the contact came about, I just remember hitting the ground. I touched my head, then looked at my hand and it was full of blood and I thought – I’ve been opened up here. The funny thing is the whole Victory backline at the time had shortish hair so my mum had trouble working out which one was me. I decided for that match I’d wear strapping on my hand to make it easier for her. Then I got cut open and was wearing a bandage on my head for most of the match. In the end she had no trouble at all.
