After watching Behich stuff his chance up it was written in the stars that this would be the moment that Kev slipped up. It was almost as if I had mentally prepared for what was about to happen and, sure enough, Kev failed to take his opportunity. Right in front of us, on the biggest stage, against our most hated rival. A knot in the stomach formed instantly, we knew that we were in a pile of trouble. The rest is history now, but it’s hard to forget that moment and the result that night. We love Kev and everything he’s done for the club on and off the field, but boy that hurt. It still does.
