Australian Four Four Two - - PERFORMANCE - Leo James

The A-League is back, and each club has now released its new look kit for the upcoming season. With six different manufacturers, FTBL has seen all the new designs up close, with some ticking all the boxes. Macron, Umbro, Nike, Adidas, VIVA and PUMA make up the six different suppliers who will be represented across Australia. One of the biggest changes seen in this season’s kits, is the return of the stripes on the Mariners home kit, back after a seven-year absence. A new inclusion this season is the personalised variations of the latest Hyundai A-League logo, specific for each club.

The Sydney Derby is set to light up Round 3 of the new season, when Sydney FC host Western Sydney Wanderers at Allianz Stadium. In what is sure to be a packed stadium, divided with half in Sky Blue and half in Red and Black, it will be a vocal battle between The Cove and The RBB throughout the night. The intense rivalry action doesn’t stop their either, with the Melbourne Derby set to stop Melbourne, the Original Rivalry between Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory to paint South Australia Red, as well as the F3 Derby, featuring Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets. Expect to see colour, passion, flavour... and plenty of tough challenges this season!
