JORDAN EYRE, MATCH- GOING SUPPORTER SINCE 2004

Australian Four Four Two - - PREMIER LEAGUE -

This season will be different to last because

we have increased expectations to contend with.

Our most underrated player is

Stephen Ward. It’s no coincidence that our Premier League record is significantly poorer without him in the side.

The opposition player I secretly admire is

Kieran Trippier, partly due to his Clarets connection, but mainly because he’s become one of the best full-backs in Europe.

Fans of other clubs might not know that

defender Kevin Long is our longest-serving player, having arrived at the club in 2010. Since then, he has made just 50 Burnley appearances in all competitions.

Our pantomime villain is

Neil Warnock. Always.

Keep an eye out for

Tinashe Chakwana, who followed up his top-scoring season for Burnley’s under-18s in 2016-17 by doing it with the under-23s in 2017-18.

Save the date for

our trip to Crystal Palace on December 1. The festive period looks tough, so heading into those fixtures on the back of a victory could be vital.

This season we will finish

10th.

FFT asks: If Burnley do well in the early stages, how seriously should Sean Dyche take the Europa League?

His approach will be calculated as ever. He won’t risk our Premier League status for a semi-decent run on the continent.
