What you think about all things outdoors

Australian Geographic Outdoor - - Contents - Ryan Shap, Victoria

I would like to take this opportunity to write to you today, to share my passion and love for the wilderness that has been greatly sparked by this magazine.

Here I am today, sitting in a tent somewhere north of Brisbane. Blistering heat and tropical conditions is what I face, and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way. I haven’t always had the desire to explore the mundane, but there has been something within me all along, an inkling to explore… An inkling that cannot be tempered. This inkling has taken me to places that I have never dreamed of, and as I sit here in my tent, all I can think of is “where next?”.

Thanks to this magazine, I have the tools and the inspiration to go on and conquer the world. Never stop exploring. Never stop dreaming.
