What you think about all things outdoors

MY WIFE AND I really enjoy reading your magazine and finding more places to want to walk.

Unfortunately, our daughters don’t share our enthusiasm for hiking - they keep reminding us that cars have been invented and suggest we get a dictionary and look up the definition of the word “holiday”.

But while doing the Coast to Coast walk in England a couple of years ago we were impressed by the number of hikers of all ages on the track.

So last year (while training for Kilimanjaro) and earlier this year (while training for the Kokoda Track) we’ve kidnapped our grandsons (see photo above) and have had them out walking with us in the Adelaide Hills.

They both love it.

Keeping them keen has been easy so far - and hopefully will remain so as we show them some of the great destinations in

AG Outdoor.

We might have to borrow them for a week to tackle the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail.

Keep up the great work.
