WHILE IT HAD a few me­chan­i­cal is­sues, the Toy­ota FJ40 LandCruiser was a favourite amongst the trip par­tic­i­pants. While not a great drive on the road, the Shorty 40 was at home in the off-road sec­tions, al­beit noisy.
