iam con­stantly amazed at the sim­plic­ity of well­ness and how the right nu­tri­tion, if avail­able to us, is of­ten the an­swer to so many un­nec­es­sary ill­nesses in our world to­day. Sim­ple things can go a long way and an ex­am­ple of this is to cre­ate a sim­ple 4 to 6-in­gre­di­ent juice a week. This can im­prove well­ness and change our lives dra­mat­i­cally. If you put the right nu­tri­tion in, the body can heal it­self.

Sim­ply put, we can heal and im­prove our health by putting the right nu­tri­tion into a place where it can be ab­sorbed and used by the body to do what the body is de­signed to do. Spend­ing a lot of time in Mon­go­lia, I have been work­ing with the lo­cal com­mu­nity to im­prove their health and well­be­ing. I ob­served as an ex-nurse and a well­ness prac­ti­tioner that there seems to be a huge is­sue with Rick­ets, hips, back and knee prob­lems. This is ev­i­dent in Mon­go­lians over the age of about 45 years of age, in large part due to their poor nu­tri­tion, a lack of vi­ta­min D, cal­cium and other vi­ta­mins found in good fruits and veg­eta­bles.

I also ob­served that there is min­i­mal to al­most no fruit and veg­eta­bles avail­able most of the year and then when it is avail­able, it’s ex­pen­sive and im­ported from China or other Asian coun­tries. No­tice­ably, when a small ef­fort is made to eat more healthy by in­cor­po­rat­ing more fruits and veg­eta­bles in their di­ets, or in­dulge in mas­sage or some other small but ef­fec­tive new life­style prac­tice, it seems to show mas­sive changes and low­ers their dis­com­fort, lifts their spir­its, and their gen­eral health and well­be­ing im­proves rapidly.

You would think Aus­tralia would be dif­fer­ent! Fruits and veg­eta­bles are read­ily avail­able and we have qual­ity sea­sonal pro­duce. Com­par­a­tively, we don’t have the high in­ci­dence of rick­ets and we tend to live longer, but of­ten our bod­ies are starv­ing a good nu­tri­tional bal­ance. We are eat­ing more of the wrong things and con­se­quently put on more weight and ul­ti­mately die ear­lier than we should. A bit dra­matic? Un­for­tu­nately, that is the truth. Eat­ing junk food or nu­tri­tion­ally de­fi­cient food is detri­men­tal to our health.

We are nu­tri­tion­ally starv­ing and mak­ing our­selves sus­cep­ti­ble to dif­fer­ent dis­eases for the same rea­son as the Mon­go­lians. - be­cause we seem to have lost the abil­ity to ab­sorb nu­tri­ents and so are lack­ing the most fun­da­men­tal and sim­ple nu­tri­tion ab­sorp­tion from our di­ets. In­tro­duc­ing a nu­tri­tion­ally bal­anced juice of 500mls/1 pint juice into our lives daily (or if this is not pos­si­ble then weekly) will be ben­e­fi­cial. This will en­able our bod­ies to have a chance to do the work it needs to im­prove our health. HOW SIM­PLE IS THAT!!! Would it not be grand to have the con­trol and power to be able to choose health over dis­ease? Why wait till we get too sick to do any­thing to help our­selves?

There are many dif­fer­ent juice recipes that are freely avail­able on­line, or in books. The im­por­tant thing to re­mem­ber is to mix it up with other fruit and veg­eta­bles. This can be ex­tremely ben­e­fi­cial to you and your body than mas­ti­cat­ing (eat­ing) the fruit and veg­eta­bles all the time. Why juice and not just eat more fruits and veg­ta­bles? Be­cause juic­ing fresh is live and the nu­tri­ents get into our sys­tem within 15 min­utes of hit­ting our stom­ach.

I sug­gest chang­ing the juices around by al­ter­nat­ing be­tween a bal­anced red juice and a bal­anced green juice. The ben­e­fits you will feel are amaz­ing. From my per­sonal ex­pe­ri­ence, I no­ticed within a cou­ple of days of juic­ing that there was a good dif­fer­ence in my life and how I felt. I have lost over 30 ki­los be­cause I sim­ply added more nu­tri­tion into my body through bal­anced juic­ing. What this did for my body was noth­ing short of mirac­u­lous. My im­prove­ments in­cluded bet­ter heart health, to elim­i­nat­ing my sleep ap­nea, to be­ing able to run again af­ter over 20 years. I have gained a life back and I now feel bet­ter than I did in my 20’s and I’m now in my 50’s. I be­lieve ev­ery­one has the right to choose to feel good and I think you will see and feel the heal­ing in your own body within a short time from a sim­ple daily fresh juice.

How do you start to change your sit­u­a­tion? Sim­ple add juic­ing to your life. Not the juice from the shelves at the su­per­mar­kets and shops, this is not live juice. Please don’t be ex­treme, for ex­am­ple just juic­ing all Car­rots or all Broad Beans is the same as starv­ing your body of good nu­tri­tion you will get sicker. One thing the uni­verse has taught me is “If it’s not bal­anced, it’s not right for us”. Make a sim­ple juice a day and reap the ben­e­fits.
