WOOFER AND TWEET

Australian HIFI - - SOUNDBITES -

A self-titled ‘proverbial dilettante of the arts’ has created a website of cartoons that take a satirical look into the audiophile lifestyle. The artist, who once worked for MAD Magazine, is an award-winning songwriter and a prize-winning photographer, but prefers to remain anonymous. ‘My website is strictly for fun; does not have advertising or pay-per-clicks, and I publish a new cartoon every Monday, Wednesday and Friday,’ he says. ‘It was conceived as a satirical look into the life of an audiophile, with maybe a small taste on the video side as well,’ he writes on his website, which is located at www.wooferandtweet.com

If a cartoon features a photograph of a hi-fi component, links are provided to the manufacturer of that component, but this is for convenience only according to Woofer and Tweet, it is a link only, with no tracking or commercial arrangements involved.
