Harbeth Audio has announced a third raft of limited edition products to commemorate its 40th Anniversary.

For this third release, the Harbeth P3ESR and Harbeth M40.2 have been released in an olive wood veneer, and fitted out with the latest WBT-nextgen binding posts, British-made audio-grade poly capacitors, and Harbeth’s 40th anniversary ultra-pure OFC internal cable. Each speaker comes with Harbeth 40th Anniversary limited edition front and back badges and a metallic black and gold anniversary grille badge on the front baffle.

Alan Shaw, Designer and Managing Director, told Australian HiFi Magazine: ‘ We’re delighted to continue the celebrations of this milestone anniversary with the release of a limited edition version of our P3ESR model. A lighter veneer was the finish most often requested by our dealers and distributors, and olive wood is the perfect choice.’ In Australia, Harbeth Speakers are distributed by Audio Magic. Aleksandar Maksimovic of Audio Magic, said that Steve Guttenberg of The Audiophiliac, had given the 40th anniversary version of the M40.2 a rave review. ‘ Guttenberg said the M40.2 not only looks, feels and sounds like a beautiful piece of design, and also said that its sound was something to savour, because there was something really special going on... that it was a music lover’s speaker,’ he told Australian Hi-Fi Magazine.
