STYLE: NEW HAMPTONS
Seeking a classic-contemporary approach to their weekender (above) on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, the owners asked interior designer Adelaide Bragg to create a Hamptons-style dining area. “They wanted something fresh that would suit the relaxed environment of the home,” says Bragg. The eight-seater ‘Florence’ table from MCM House features a bordered parquetry top on an Italian-style solid timber base. It’s paired with ‘Melody’ rattan dining chairs topped with cushions upholstered in Thibaut ‘Circle Ikat’ fabric in a bold cobalt, a nod to the home’s beachside location. The limed-wood pendant lights over the table are from Imagine This and tie all the elements together. adelaidebragg.com.au
