Lights show.

Lighting is one of the most magical tools in a decorator’s kit, an effective way to stage-manage mood and accent beautiful features. For interiors, have a variety of light sources – wall sconces, floor and table lamps – at different heights around the perimeter of a space, plus an eye-catching pendant to tie it all together. Outside, use candles (faux or real) in hurricane lanterns or large vases, lanterns and solar fittings to line pathways or define entertaining zones. And nothing evokes childlike excitement more than strings of fairy lights twinkling in the dark. Year-round joy.

String lights are affordable and versatile, as well as suitable for indoors and out.
