Healthy snack­ing can im­prove your over­all health, curb crav­ings, as­sist with weight man­age­ment, reg­u­late your mood and give you the en­ergy to keep you go­ing through­out the day. It is im­por­tant to choose snacks that are high in fi­bre and pro­tein to help keep you feel­ing full and sat­is­fied. The car­bo­hy­drate con­tent will de­pend on your en­ergy re­quire­ments. These omelette muffins are a su­per quick and easy way to sneak in ex­tra veg­gies with the pro­tein con­tent mak­ing them a per­fect snack for af­ter train­ing or be­tween meals.


Mix 2 eggs and dash of milk (per muf­fin) + veg­gies of choice (zuc­chini, car­rot, onion), gin­ger, tumeric + salt and pep­per. Bake in the oven for 10-15 min­utes (de­pend­ing on the size).
