The Ride Wide Enduro bar from Burgtec is developed off the back of its strong and well proven (think Santa Cruz Syndicate) Ride Wide Downhill bar. The Ride Wide Enduro bar is also being used by Josh Bryceland on the Enduro World Series Circuit where his skills are putting it though conditions no mechanical test jig could ever hope to do. The Ride Wide Enduro has a 35mm bar clamp and when mated to the Burgtec MK2 stem offers an extremally stiff and direct setup. Our set came in at 760mm wide with a 20mm rise, 9-degree back sweep and 5-degree upsweep. Coming off a bar with less of an upsweep it took a about half an hour to get used to the Burgtec’s. Once used to the upsweep it was obvious that this setup is designed to go fast and it delivers an incredibly stiff combination of bar and stem. Using the stiff 35mm clamp allows a rider to reposition the bike on technical trails with ease and precise control.
