events have been added to the program for the 2016 Longford Revival, set for February 27-28.
This year saw the successful return of the popular retro racing festival, which celebrates the annual visit by the Tasman Series to the township, 15 minutes south of Launceston, through the 1960s.
Joining The Flying Mile run and Longford Pub Corner stage (pictured), which were both big hits last year, will be sprints at nearby Symmons Plains Raceway and a yet to be revealed “secret finish to the weekend of motorsport.”
“The 2015 Longford Revival hosted the biggest group of cars and bikes of the event’s history and next year promises to be even bigger with some significant cars and bikes already committed,” an event spokesperson said.
