The end of car­mak­ing by Ford Aus­tralia al­lows the com­pil­ing of a range of im­pres­sive sta­tis­tics. Here are a few:

The peak pro­duc­tion year was 1985 with 155,254 ve­hi­cles built. At this time the as­sem­bly plants were Broad­mead­ows 1+2 (Mel­bourne), Home­bush (Syd­ney) and Ea­gle Farm (Bris­bane). Mod­els pro­duced in 1985 were Fal­con pas­sen­ger and com­mer­cial, Fair­lane, LTD, Laser, Tel­star, F-Se­ries, L-Se­ries, Cargo, trac­tor.

The peak Fal­con pro­duc­tion year was 2003 with 102,144 BA mod­els, plus 2849 Fair­lanes and LTDs.

Thirty years later, 2015, the most re­cent full cal­en­dar year, the pro­duc­tion to­tal was down to 18,319 ve­hi­cles – 6319 Fal­con sedan, 2400 Fal­con ute and 9600 Ter­ri­tory.

When it comes to mod­els the full Ford Aus­tralia pro­duc­tion hon­our roll ex­tends to Anglia, Pre­fect, Cortina, Con­sul, Ze­phyr, Laser (2 mod­els), Me­teor, Tel­star, Cus­tom­line, Fair­lane, Ranch wagon, Galaxie, F-Se­ries, T-Truck, Es­cort van, Thames van, 15 cwt van-cab-es­tate car, K-Se­ries, D-Se­ries, Cargo, V-Se­ries, R-Se­ries, L-Se­ries, Trader, Capri, Fal­con (24 mod­els), Fair­lane (15 mod­els), LTD (10 mod­els) and Ter­ri­tory (4 mod­els).
